Using the tool

How many passages should you select?

Choose the count for the job in front of you. More passages give you more places to inspect; they do not make the selection a semantic summary.

Brief · up to 3

Useful when you want a quick route into an unfamiliar source. Read those paragraphs before deciding what the document says overall.

Balanced · up to 6

A practical first pass across several paragraphs. The tool tries to spread selections, then fills any remaining places by score.

Detailed · up to 10

Useful when a longer source contains several sections you need to revisit. It is still a selection of exact sentences, not a substitute for reading the whole source.

Focus a paragraph

If one paragraph matters to your question, select it in the focus menu. That adds weight to its sentences. It does not hide other paragraphs or change their wording. Review the original context for every result.
